WAIT, IT'S NOT JUST ME?
In this reflection, I share the weight of unexpected grief, the power of intuition, and the hope that even in sorrow, something sacred is being stirred beneath the surface—reminding me that healing often begins in hidden places.
One year after our first date, I married the man who showed me love not through grand gestures, but through quiet strength and steady presence. As life brought loss and grief, Nick remained my constant—proving that healing, love, and partnership can thrive even in the most broken, unexpected places.
As my mother neared the end of her life, I returned to the woman I had long since detached from. In the tension between love and pain, memory and reality, I wrestled with what remained: a bond frayed by trauma, yet still held together by a single thread—fear, and maybe love.
